thank goodness you din touch vaxhall viva or morris marina.

Back in those days Ford Angila or ford capri was the one that stood out the most ..

Of course the ford escort with the dog bone grill came along.. I still recall the top of the line came with electric wind mirror .

As for bus and lorry , u miss out bedford.

my uncle got himself a new Datsun Bluebird in the early 80s when he just graduated

that car has fender mounted side mirrors, what's more fascinating to his young nephew (me) was the mirrors were remote controlled, it has a small joystick in the cabin to adjust the mirrors

I also have an uncle who bought a new bluebird, but i only got to sit inside it once. Didn't notice it. When you said fender-mounted, that's the same as what's shown above right? That's a joystick in cabin to remote control it? Really? That's intriguing...

I am not sure if fender mounted mirror is the correct term but it looked like this

I can't remember joystick or buttons but I remember my uncle showed to me it can be adjusted from the cabin

Driven by a lady in her late 60's with a Old Man as Passenger,Morning always seen on Geylang Rd & turn into Crawford St.

Yes, it was driven by a lady in her 60's but without the male companion. I caught it at Kranji area last week.

BTW, 1st time spotting the latest G16 BMW 8 Series Gran Coupé. Sexy!! [thumbsup]

It look nothing like the Kia Stinger, although the photos we saw online might say otherwise.

wah, really can arrh? i missed that bit.

what i distinctly remembered, was that for the manual ones, it was v troublesome, cos driver needs to sit inside driver's seat, then must get someone to help go to the mirrors to press left/right/up/down...

why i remember? cos i was often the one going to help press 😁

I know the accord at that same period came in 2 trim. The ex came with all power option including the power mirror and window.

The bluebird may be similar in trim. Manual worung window and electric window with remote side wing mirror.

Turbocharged

I saw this car at Raffles Hotel.  Could someone please help to identify the brand/model?

Is it an old car or is it a new car with retro look?
