1962 - 1964 Fiat 600D come standard with 'Suicide Door' instead, and has a different bumper and rear hatch cover.

The original (1957 - 1960) Fiat 600 was equipped with a 633cc inline 4 engine developing 22 - 24ps horsepower, which can propel the 3.22m mini car to a top speed of 95Km/h.

Fiat 600D was the more powerful version, which used an upsized 767cc inline 4 Tipo 100 engine developing 29 - 32ps horsepower, enabling it to hit a top speed of 110Km/h.

Fiat 500 is a even smaller car (just 2.97m in length) and has engine of <600cc (479cc - 594cc inline 2).

My former colleague had one of this, with suicide door.

When I was in school, my former teacher took a lift in one of this cars to school. Students would line the corridor waiting for her arrival...😳

No lah, 'D' stands for one of the few engine variant. There were 'E' and 'R' too, the latter for the most powerful version.

Yah, saw many old Fiat 500 with badly corroded metal panels. Maybe this owner is a regular visitor to body workshop or car glooming company?
