Pug 405!! The magic carpet ride.

Yeah - years back used to take my colleague's one (white too) for lunch very often.  Very comfortable ride.

Is this the 1974 - 1975 Aston Martin Lagonda V8 Saloon (Series 1)?! Only 8 units were built throughout the 2 years of production, and we got 1 in Singapore?! [jawdrop]

Or is it the equally rare 1986 - 1989 Aston Martin V8 (Series V)? [total 405 units produced]

Confirm not DSB Vantage, as the rear look quite different.

Supercharged

@Carbon82

I saw a similar looking Aston Martin 2 years ago

it was on a car lift so I didn't get to see the face and body, only upskirt views 😎

I remember it has inboard rear disc brake and some kind of ducted oil cooler at the rear (differential oil cooler?)

According to LTA, it's a DBS V8 🤔🤔

But agree it looks like the Lagonda or the Series V

More likely the latter, the 4-door is pretty impossible to find anywhere;

A recent Sale by Auction at Bonhams in the UK, a '74 V8 for SGD120,000, despite the fact it needs a bit of interior work.

1974 ASTON MARTIN V8

CHASSIS NO. V8/11252/RCA

*Series 3 model with Weber carburettors
*Automatic transmission
*Rare electric sunroof option

series 3 v8, original sg car

If this is the Series 3, the owner must have redo it rear to convert it to Series V. There are significant differences in the boot lid design (including placement of the logo) and profile between the 2 model.

On a closer look, the exhaust tip and opening on the 2 flaps above the boot does seems to be from the Series III.

Wah. Kei car. This was very popular in the late 90s and early 2000s. Indeed rare. The wheel covers are recognisable as Proton Wira items, though they do not have Proton wordings.

I vividly remembered Mojo Singapore bought a fleet as their company car and can be spotted around Jurong area in the early 2000s.

It has a badge engineered sibling across the causeway, known as the Perodua Kenari
