Agree that its a beautiful car and very well kept, saw it coming out of Kaki Bukit Autocare Centre the other day.

But i don't agree that it should be driven when its raining 😁

great catch!

this looks like the 4 cylinder (2 litre?) version, there was a v6 (2.5 litre?) version that was even more delicious!

but even this 4 cylinder gtv like so many alfa romeos of that era sounded so so wonderful ..

thats likely the updated/face lift version, where they used plastic bumpers (instead of chrome/rubber) and at the front incorporate an air dam too.

i think the GTV6 has a different bonnet too, with a hump to accommodate the larger engine.

envy your friend with such a delicious car!

and driving heaven for the driver ..

not so much as in how fast or how well it corners, but the way the V6 sounds and responds to the throttle ..

looked at one advertised for sale many many years ago .. private seller at loyang .. but chickened out at the prospect of owning an italian ..

it is like (tiagong only ha) a mistress - a pure joy and delight when every thing works as it should .. but when it turns temperamental good luck to you 😂

The full name should be Alfa Romeo Alfetta (116), and it has many engine options and variants when it was in production between 1974 - 1986.

GT (1.6 and 1.8 NA)

@Carbon82 This Alfa back in the days must be a car that has a breakthrough in the design. Look are the sloping nose and front windscreen. That era, many cars do not have such a design. It must be a pretty attractive design then.

jeremy clarkson has one of these too .. for someone who has driven so many cars and can have almost any car in the world - see his latest too-big lamborghini tractor - it says a lot about how desirable the alfa is ..

Yeah, looks alike, since both are 2-door cars with a liftback tailgate, and both got single exhaust pipe.

not to mention both have 4 silvery bits for wheels and silvery-and-black bits for bumpers ..

but i wont be fooled .. they are certainly not the same because one is yellow and the other is red .. 😂
