Just found a scanned copy of the Corolla Altis brochure from 2006!

I remember this car was very good looking when it came out yet now its regarded as a old and outdated car.

Didn't know that Toyota had many service centres back in 2006.

FC on the Thaiyota was shitty compared to the Hipporolla

It's weird that the Thai made Altis is considered a more luxurious variant of the HIPPOROLLA when it came out.

Maybe due to Hipporolla is very light? Steering light and car body is light?

This gen of altis is just a doppelganger of Japan corolla E120, same body with different face & butt. Did a side to side comparison with my ex-japan corolla before & feel Japanese E120 has more better equipments.

I think if hipporolla is 1.5 version, the fuel consumption sure got difference altis which is 1.6 engine.

Other thing will be hipporolla power steering is EPS system while altis is traditional belt driven pump which require some of its engine power to power it?

Borneo launched the Executive version in  2001, which came with leather seats and sports rims & the headlamp lip to reduce the Hippo look.

Brand new at $78K with a high $18K OMV. PARF was 80% of OMV = $14.4K.
