Hard to predict for this upcoming round. On one hand, it seems there could be further declines in Cat A due to the weak economy and having dropped for 3 consecutive rounds but this weekend's Car Expo may see some bookings and as there are a few new cars being launched in Cat B, that category and Open may go up instead?

Could be start of uptrend for the coming new year . Might be wrong but my impression is that year end  coe tends to go up.

but that was coincided with the worst crashes in the stock markets in past few years...

fear of recession was everywhere, until FED came out to say they would not raise interest rates anymore

unless this year end market crash again to cause widespread fear

(but then this year's economy really seems worse than last year... high chance Singapore will slip into technical recession by 4th q)

I have the feeling COE will go below $36,000/- .... :we-all-gonna-die:

On the streets, 'hung cheng' not very good ... :lll._.:

Weekends crowds at Car Expo also not much peoples .. [:(]

Think it's not that bad la.  Seems a lot of investments meant for Hongkong came to singapore instead.  Maybe this maybe that.

But coe always over subscribed.

Only paper money transfer over. Still need local banks to loan money out to earn interest before SG see profits gain.

So it takes another 4 or more months to taste results.
