I think cannot be that bad for developments of the past. In the past, before car lite world, the minimum parking provision was quite high. Some even 120% or higher.

Which development?

D1... Robinson Suites, One Shenton, The Sail @ Marina Bay...seldom crowded. Anywhere, I don't live there, no issue for me. 😄

Maybe... But also only a clown would identify himself when he scolds his own boss/superior.🤔

Well,  we can only choose to believe what we want to or when the truth is revealed.

*now still got anonymous dislike button here?

Better a clown with balls than a clown with none

Singaporean means Singaporean. No difference in privilege irregardless whether you are a naturalised Singaporean who don't need to serve 2 years  National Service and 13 years of Reservist and IPPT.

Yes totally agree! Singaporean means Singaporean!

We have many great examples in our cabinet already:

1) Janil Puthucheary

Quote

Career

Puthucheary was born in Malaysia[1] and, after training as a doctor in the United Kingdom, worked at hospitals in London, Belfast and Sydney, before moving to Singapore in 2001 to work at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. In 2008, he became a Singapore citizen at the age of 35.[2]

Puthucheary is currently a Senior Consultant in the children's intensive care unit at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. Since 2007, he has also been an Assistant Professor and Medical Director for Faculty Development at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School.[3]

Political career

Puthucheary was a member of the PAP's team in the Pasir Ris-Punggol Group Representation Constituency at the 2011 general election. The PAP team, which was led by Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean, defeated the team from the Singapore Democratic Alliance by 100,493 votes (64.8%) to 54,601 (35.2%).[4] Since the election, Puthucheary has represented the Punggol West ward within the constituency in Parliament.[5]

National Service controversy

Dr Puthucheary did not serve national service in Singapore, as first-generation new citizens are not required to do so. Having been compared to Chen Show Mao, a foreign-born new candidate of the Workers' Party who volunteered for national service at naturalisation, he mentioned that he has instead spent the last 10 years saving kids' lives. Some commentators criticised his comment due to the advantages of a professional career compared with national service.[6] His candidacy has led to Low Thia Khiang, the leader of the Workers' Party, to call for an amendment to the Singapore constitution to allow only male candidates who have served their national service to run for elections.[7]

2) Khaw Boon Wan

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khaw_Boon_Wan

Quote

Born in Federation of Malaya (modern Malaysia) to a Malaysian Chinese family,[4] Khaw began his career in the Singapore Civil Service, working in the Ministry of Health in 1977.

Sorry folks.......Wiki conveniently left out when he was naturalised.....😁

not only you say leh ….

Alleged colleague of Ramesh Erramalli speaks out, says latter “is a person with a big ego” who is “paid like a king”

In an anonymous social media post, a person claiming to be a colleague of Ramesh Erramalli, the condominium owner who abused a security guard, spoke out, describing the latter as “a person with a big ego”.

The colleague, who wrote in to Facebook page ‘SG Confessions’ anonymously, said that he initially wanted to wait until JP Morgan, Ramesh’s company, made a public statement before speaking up but added that the investment bank was slow to act. By way of explanation, he wrote, “why you say, just look at his (Ramesh’s) position and you will know why the hesitance to take swift decisive action”.

The colleague wrote that “Ramesh is a person with a big ego, he likes to talk big, why? Because he is paid like a king, opens his mouth to direct others while the staff does his bidding.

He has power and authority issues and yes always gives the vibe that he looks down on his colleagues and subordinates. I guess in his mind, he is God’s gift to this world and Singapore”.

Oh wow, that's JUICY

Apologised le.

Dont go for people throat bah. Else how are we different from them?

He should do this immediately after the incident and not continue to threaten others. Also, it is important to tell such people such behaviour is unacceptable and it is all about how we educate people what is graciousness. Of course we are not going for the kill just because he is rude.

However,  his incident brought out 2 other issues that need to be addressed..MOM and ICA which are bigger than the rudeness.

Suddenly all the "good family", "friendly upbringing and nature" type of traits all bring up. Invisible hand of god behind the scenes?
