Wow I'm shocked that on bidding day itself with 20mins to go, this page still only 1st page!

Dropped across the board but not by much. I had expected a heavier drop but not to be.

Coe dropped? Looks like demand is really weak? Maybe all waiting for Jan car motor show?

The demand for car is always there.  The weaker economy outlook probably makes potential car buyers and car dealers more cautious.

However, I think the worst is behind us now. Next year with the slightly better economic growth and lower COE quota, the COE prices should be more expensive.

I agree with you. Demand for new cars are always there in Singapore and that the poor economic outlook may have made even the cash rich buyers a bit more cautious.

Perhaps there is one other reason COE prices are weak and that is there are a lot of new models that are going to be launched next year. Think the following:

Think of those staple models from Toyota, Merc, BMW, VAG group.
