I thought the standard procedure that I learned in my secondary school physics is not to just replace the blown fuse but to also rectify the root cause of the power surge 🧐

My gate has stopped operating properly for close to a year - multiple issues depending on weather. Definitely not a simple fuse affair. So finally got it repaired last week at $1200. The physical gate was not replaced but the following are: motors, electric boards and enclosure, remotes. Waterproofing was done to the underground motor enclosures. Hopefully can last another 10 years.
