Disney has cut a brief scene of two women kissing in the Singaporean version of its latest Star Wars film.

The Rise of Skywalker features the first same-sex kiss in the franchise's history - described by reviewers as "a brief flash of two women kissing... among a crowd of characters".

But the version released in Singapore omits the scene.

Singapore's media regulatory body told the BBC that Disney cut the scene so it didn't get a higher age rating.

"The applicant has omitted a brief scene which under the film classification guidelines would require a higher rating," said a spokesperson from IMDA.

Without the kiss, the film is rated PG13 in Singapore.

Okay so so movie lah,  middle of show I high tide and tried to endure but last 5 mins had to chiong go toilet. Came back and she said "Rey Skywalker".

The end. 

I still prefer Star Trek.

I didn’t like Ep 9. 
 

I also didn’t like Ep 8 and 7. 
 

I didn’t like all the new characters especially Finn and Poe.

to me, Ep 3, 1 and the original trilogy is the best.

Agree totally .... Do not like Poe and Fin. Rose also.  I like Snorke though. 

Watched Star Wars with cousins in 1977 at Odeon theatre.  Still my favourite.

Watched with my kids.. the feedback was.. ah the old auntie just die like that? Huh?

Then the last scene kissing and the guy died.. why kiss the girl.. 

And yes.. 4 of us went, 3 of us dozed off.. My youngest slept throughout until the kiss scene 😂

Watched IP Man earlier that day.. It was so much better 😂

The Force healing in Ep 9 is a joke.

if a Jedi can force heal, Anakin would have brought Padma back to life and all these shit wouldn’t have happened 😆

I like Star Wars and have followed every episode but 7,8,9 are really bad.

1. He didn't know about the existence of such a power. And also he would have died like Ben Solo in the process.

2. Also there's a philosophical difference in the understanding of the Force by different practitioners. Some practitioners are capable of some feats that are not able to be replicated by others. 

3.  Also can say that Emperor should have remained dead or at least only a maelovent ghost. not a flesh and blood creature.
