No one mentioned Teana?

Ah pek but comfy

Sadly cannot get already bro...

Unless get 2nd hand, and the one to get is with the 3.5L V6...

Drinks petrol quite a bit, but engine is smooth like butter, and pick-up awesome. I used to drive a Cefiro with the 2.3L V6.

I think it's just sad Nissan has pretty much abandoned their V6 line-up for mass-consumer cars.

I have sat in a stock 2017 2.0 na forestor many times, front and rear. Assume the current version has not improved significantly, there is no way I describe it as comfortable, using the standard of a S$100k car.

Current XV & Forestor are using a completely new platform compare to the 2017 model.

I agree the seats are very comfortable other than I don't like their head rest. More than my car but lose to volvo seat. Ride also soft.

Wanted to mention

What are you driving currently bro

Prev gen Accord.

The current camry on tnga platform has a stiffer setup. It feels quite different from older camry. I would say it's not the soft city driving car of before.

But the cabin has good space for spending long hours on the road.

So is the current model better than 2017 model?

I always find the space in camry is good no matter which gen.

Did not drive before.

But did watch a few oversea review when compare with RAV4, CX5, the new Forester has a better ride and NVH.

My XT ride is definitely hard.

Turbocharged

Does the comfy equate to more bouncy ride? Thought it should glide thru humps yet not give the boat in the waves feeling?

When I switch on the 'normal' mode in my car I don't like it.  It's rather bouncy especially over humps.

The hard dynamic mode feels harsh. 🙄

Yes, this is my fundamental requirement for a comfy ride. There are simply too many humps and uneven roads in SG.

comfy = so called magic carpet ride.

for example air suspension found in S class and Bentleys.

By the way, is it possible to create "magic carpet ride" experience on Japanese cars using after-market modifications/enhancements?

Don't go aftermarket if you want comfort. I have changed my Alphard suspension to TENS wagon before and the ride comfort sucks. I have not tried any bilstein air suspension though.

you can get air suspension in almost any car. those are aftermarket product. but you will need to sacrifice boot space for the tank in the boot. most people do it for show because it allows you to get the stance look for car shows and then raise to normal to drive off later.
