So the unemployment rate here is only made up of Singaporean + PR ?  Foreigners working in Singapore but not PR not considered part of workforce?   Then why is the overall unemployment rate so much lower than the amalgamation

Hmmmmmm.... i confuse so i ask.  😅

2.3% => Singaporean + PR + whatever passes

The younger generation now salary so high! In the year 2004 fresh grads for engineering paid around $2.7k with no experience lo. Lol.

Haha, my time starting pay for fresh grads about $2.2K.

So these days brainless job that pays $3.5 to $4K all go to PRs; Singaporeans don't want meh? Stay jobless better? :nosepick:

Why make life so complicated? We only want to know how many Singaporeans are unemployed against non singaporeans employed here. Non singaporeans not employed is normal since even singaporeans couldn't find a job right?

Don’t ask me. I just translate it.

And therefore?

The whatever passes has a very low unemployment / retrenchment rate while, Singaporeans have the highest.

correct?

at least mathematically, that has to be correct. Correct?

And therefore? 😅🙄

Actually it doesnt really matter lah.

look at me, i am unemployed but i am enjoying life much more than you employed people.

so high percentage of unemployed Singaporeans is good.

it would be better if majority of Singaporeans were unemployed and supported by all the others who are employed.

good to be Boss for once. Especially in your own country, isnt it?

Based on the number & logic, whatever passes are mostly employed.

Singaporean + PR contributed mostly to 2.3%
