New problems on the Boeing 737 Max found!

The New York Times reported Boeing is reviewing whether two bundles of wiring are too close together, which could lead to a short circuit and potentially result in a crash if pilots did not respond appropriately

Boeing is currently working to design separating the wiring bundles if necessary and conducting extensive analysis to establish if the electrical fault could occur in a real-world scenario, a company official said.

I just don't quiet understand how by firing its CEO (he gets severance package > US$60m after minus stock option), then making a belated "apology" to the two crash victim's families when Boeing earlier put blame on "pilot error" ?

Now the on-going investigation found internal emails and messages from even Boeing's own test pilots were freaked out by Max's MCAS erratic flight software even during sim test.

Can we call this a manslaughter charge with intend to hide and lie in a massive industrial scale of fraud and deceit ?

This is far worst than 2014 discovery of VW faking emission tests, Exxon rig explosion in 2010, India's Bhopal chemical accident in 1984.

Yet, I have the bad feeling that America's beloved brand will eventually get away with a mere slap on the hand....

Looking back 9 months ago when China was the 1st country to ground the 737 Max after the 2nd crash in Ethiopia, I find it bewildering that American media can laugh it off insinuating this is part China response to the trade war, when many live were lost because corporate incompetency and arrogance.

I am disgusted.

Unfortunately,  they get away too easily. So much so, they will return with craps again knowing they can get away again. Typical of American with their BS.

The CEO, David Mullenburg,  received in total USD170M from this severance and stock compensation over the past 10 years (excluding pay and and bonuses).

This plane project is in his time.

Did he get his stock options for doing nothing and play golf all day?

Would stock options be worth a lot if there are no stock buy backs?

Would there be lots of stock buy backs (i.e. return of capital) if here are no profitable projects to justify?

Who is risking and who actually is undertaking the risk?
