Jackie Chan and Mitsubishi go together like birds of a feather, black and white, and pineapple on a pizza – depending on who you ask, that is. The deal went on for years until very recently when Chan was spotted driving a Bentley. That's got to hurt.

It might not be the most glamorous or fastest car on the block but it sure is reliable and priced at a reasonable (to some) $32,000.

Limited-Edition-Lancer-Chan.jpg?q=50&fit

Ralliart loves nothing more than making cars for Jackie Chan, proving so with yet another Jackie Chan Special Edition Lancer Evo IX Vehicles. Chan did serve as the honorary director of the Chinese Team Ralliart, so I guess that had something to do with all the free cars. Sadly, only 50 of these beauties were ever made.

chan-600-legacy.png?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&

It might not be a car, but it is probably worth mentioning that Jackie Chan has a private jet in his collection. Yes, Chan is the proud owner of an Embraer Legacy 650. The aircraft cost a whopping $30 million and is painted in the beautiful and symbolic colors of red and yellow.

1/17

Chan-Legacy-500.png?q=50&fit=crop&w=740&

Of course, Jackie Chan has two personal jets, why wouldn't he?! That's right, not only does Chan own an Embraer Legacy 650, he also owns an Embraer Legacy 500, an aircraft that set him back $20 million. Rumor has it that the Legacy 500 is for short trips and the Legacy 650 used for longer distances.

The Jackie Chan special edition Evos all looked like they were done up by the body kit workshops from JB. The carbon bits are executed in poor taste and I doubt the front bumper with all the curves/vents serve any real aero purpose. One of the most "interesting" carbon piece of these abominations is that rear carbon boot with deep V molded into it, what the hell are they thinking? Perhaps its key feature is to allow rain water to flow quickly off the vehicle, so that Jackie don't have to bring his lazy ass to wipe it off himself.

jackie-chan-evo-1.jpg

But then again, Jackie himself is filthy rich lao ah beng. He can do anything he wants :D

Owner lived at Jurong east area where I use to live. It was one of a kind. Gold + dragons. Really sad if it was scrapped.

Made by Ralliart or Firesports, designed by Jackie Chan. 😁

Unless Jackie is an aerodynamicist, I'm inclined to believe the aero parts only serve a cosmetic purpose.

The VP of my ex company bought it for his son, price well over $200K (and he was so proud of it). I sat in it before but really nothing special, not worth the premium.

His son sold it in less than a year time.

Doesn't mean any kit that was from TRD, NISMO or Ralliart means it had real aero benefits too.

Regardless of his actual technical inputs in the car or not, I stand by my initial personal opinion that these special editions are just styling exercises with JC's name on them.
