Quite awhile back, I was looking for any sports courses to take up like football or tennis coaching but there seems none. Not very friendly towards those interested in taking up sports coaching as a route to earn $ into a sport we are passionate in..

FAS football coaching courses have few levels and even the basic grassroots course is few hundred $. It would be good to use our skills future on this if they allow.

RP got diploma is sports coaching.  Go check it out

it's meant for working adults.

SG realli first world. Ah gong give taxpayer $$ for ppl to learn to bake cookies to pass to friends....

Thot the whole purpose of Skillsfuture is for ppl to pick up new job skills or re-tool themselves to enter new industries as a 2nd or 3rd career. Not to play masak masak

who say baking is play play?

its a skill for opening biz or becoming a baker?  isn't that already a career option?

I'm juz curious how many retirees or aunties who attend these baking courses open a bakery or embark on a new career after a 1 day course?

think of it this way.

someone give you a skill that u learned.  it's entirely up to you on how to use it.

i can learn to repair air con.  but will i become air con technician or open own air con servicing company or i just repair on my own house's air con?

it's entirely up to me right?

sometimes people can be very toxic

when garment give something, they will give alot of doubts, and accuse garment of this and that.  give money and take money, left hand to right hand etc.

when garment doesn't do anything, they will say lots of bad stuff of garment.

They teach you the "SOP" of conducting adult training.

in real life, you got to adapt and change.  lol

Skill future got basic Vietnamese?

They should just give us $500 in cash.

We go Joo Chiat pub and learn ourselves.

Why everything gov must spoon feed one?

Maybe we just submit receipts to show we really went there.

Where are all these adult educational courses people are talking about here?

I have seen many adult educational videos and I always wanted to be an ACTA too.

I am sure I will be good with many of the actions.

Thank you for confirming what some MCFers are saying that Skillsfuture is a waste of taxpayer money

It is not a waste of money if you put yr skills to good use.

If u learn and forget, then it's a waste. Actually what we learn from normal school years, we already forgot most of it.  So isn't also a waste of taxpayer money to educate people?

I don think it give me a better chance to get the job for sure..

i love to learn but lazy.. so I benefited more from YouTube teachers.. wanna learn Excel got one chio teacher Leila Gharani teach 😍

as my boss once said “i don have any certification in Excel but who dare to challenge me on my knowledge and speed with spread sheet”

Learning there’s many way. If one don wish to learn there’s no way to change it even the course is free.
