Can probably book with free-cancellation clauses. Can cancel the room later if trip is no go and won't incur any charges. Can be assured of accommodation, albeit such free-cancellation room rates are slightly higher than those confirmed/paid-upfront rooms.

I never said never, just not now so there is no way to get free cancellation or change.

Even Korea, SQ only provide free change with travel before end August whilst cancellation terms remain unchanged.

Since already booked, I'll still go unless travel ban or cancellation. Avoid the more crowded places but not sure if there's still a crowd now.

Must also see your company got any policy on travelling for employees during this covid-19 period. I think some companies might advise or enforce their employees not to travel even for their personal trip, esp to countries which have high confirmed cases of covid-19, even there is no travel ban.

If you have travel insurance, it might help.

To go or not to go, if going is gonna make you paranoid and anxious when you're there, don't go. If going is going to cause you to be extra worried about your kids or the elderly, don't go. If going is going to create anxiety for you when you're back in SG for the next 14 to 21 days, don't go.
