wah your vacation is very happening. Totally different from my bali trip...

which is just drive.... get off, take pictures, walk a bit, drive some more.... mix with shopping and food.

then go back to hotel by 4pm and idle....

The place to find china tourist in bali is DFS, if there is still any.

4pm retire to hotel is super early! On average we retire back to our villa about 1am to 2am except for maybe the second night we were back by 10pm ish.

River rafting is a must do activity in my opinion. Water sports and Mt Batur also a must! All the outdoor activities, must strike off the list!

Now that the world is in such a mess and nobody is able to travel at this point of time, let me try to update my Bali thread. Come to think about it, when I went to Bali back in February (3rd week), Singapore had already raised the alert level to DORSCON Orange. We were cautious right from Changi Airport. We brought along masks, sanitizers. We sanitized diligently. Wore masks on the plane. Upon touchdown at Bali Airport, we knew it would be different from our experience in Singapore itself and Changi Airport. As far as wearing masks were concerned, everything ended at Bali Airport. After Bali Airport, you will not see anyone wearing masks anymore (us included). It's almost as if COVID-19 didn't exist in Bali. The foreigners didn't care. The locals didn't care. "Bali safe, very safe. No virus" they said. They had to, their livelihoods depended on tourism.

We continued to sanitize as often as we could, and tried to keep a safety distance from others as much as we possibly could (though it was hard at times). We steered clear of Koreans as they were experiencing a large spike in cases during that period. Bali coincidentally had many many Koreans and Japanese. Many angmohs, after that the Koreans had the largest Asian presence. The Chinese were in hiding I reckon. Did not see a single Chinese in my entire duration.

So back in Singapore we were well aware of the virus outbreak, in Bali, nth like that existed. The Caucasians partied away, danced away. We shared transport for river rafting and it rained after, some of the Caucasians in the car coughed and sneezed quite openly. Being Singaporeans and alert, we were quite triggered by it but pretty much nothing we could do. But we knew it was probably just a cold after being caught in the rain.

Ok so much nonsense.

Lunch at Warung Babi Guning. Not very nice! Pork skin also sold out we arrived after lunch hours. Reviews super good but taste normal!

What virus? Back in Feb, the Indos didn't care about the virus.

Ate at the Babi guning place too. Seems to be the tourist resturant.

i saw quite a lot of Chinese tourist during Chinese New Year when I was there. Weird that there is not many cases even until now. I mean if it’s really wide spread, u should get more deaths.... which is hard to hide.
maybe the Super hot weather does help
