Well done Max. Going against team orders to drive like Grandma to preserve car.

Looks like Mercedes weakness is hot temperature. Where circult that is hot, their tyres will not perform as well and long lasting as redbull does..

What I mean is Mercedes car for some reason is not able to work very well with hot temperature on that tyre.

Not the tyre, the cooling system cmi.

The tyres breaking up were because of debris, but some say also because of the dual-axis steering system which allow LH and VB  to adjust wheel alignment when driving by simply pulling or pushing the steering wheel.

Wow.. Nowonder Mercedes is world champion.. Look at the way he talked about the issues. He is able to identify what is the problem clearly and have excellent understanding of how tyre work in relation to load, temperature and etc.. To get good result.. 1st need to identify the problem correctly.. If can't even identify the problem correctly then no matter what fix.. It will not solve anything.

As compared to haas, they also have tyre issue, but seems like they do not know what exactly causing the problem. Maybe that's why haas is so far behind. Coz are not able to identify the problem correctly. So no matter what fix they do, the problem will still be there and thus they are slow.

We might see Istanbul grand prix back to F1. With F1 cars now with so much downdorce.. It would be very interesting to see how these F1 cars will took the turn 8. Look at year 2008 F1 cars taking turn 8, with 2020 F1 cars.. Can't imagine how much faster it will go and stress the tyre..

George Russell really should drive at top team car for him to perform. It is really wasted for him to be at William where he is such a good driver, but with car that is at the bottom. Can imagine how boring and frustrated he is in year 2019 where he is like alone most of the time never race anyone expect for others to overtake him due to blue flag.. At least this year he get to showcase what he had to fight with haas and alpha tauri..
