HK dramas have improved quite a bit these few years. Even my young daughter switch from Korean/local dramas over.

The new ones no more studio-set - all filmed in real locations in HD. Story and cast is also stronger than before.

I think they have strong pressure from the very high budget mainland chinese productions. And now HK big dramas are co-invested with mainland china platforms like YouKu so they have more budget.

yes, photography is now very good and colours are rich.

quality of dialogue is still pretty good. some nuggets of wisdom here and there.

Really meh? I came across afew episodes of k-drama Flower Journey to West and found it very 胡扯。

Also, I saw many common scenes of aunties and uncles quarreling in K shows.

Then I decide to shut them off completely

Maybe you folks please advise me a k show which I should not miss.

last time SNSD ... then BLACKPINK and TWICE ... now ITZY coming up !!! huat ah!

Decendants of the sun🤣

Hospital Playlist.

Dr Romantic 1 & 2

This will be the ultimate 胡扯 drama: Sisyphus: The Myth.

You will not accept the storyline.

Storyline. Acting skill.

Now awaiting season 3 coming June!

See the heart breaking howling from a daughter that seem her mother died infront of her.

Kim so yeon change of facial expression within 25 seconds (watch after 1mimutes) walking along the hospital corridor toward her deceased father room: indifferent, nonchalant, depressed, anger, sad, devastated.

Epic acting skill!🤗

Quirky and funny like The Grand Budapest Hotel. Silly and funny story just keeps moving episode by episode. References to well-known movies from HK and Hollywood.

Good performances by all. Angel Chiang was really excellent as the sultry and focused 水姐 [inlove] , followed by Crystal Fung's restrained performance as Mdm Koo.

[thumbsup]
