Pls don't. If the students want to study here, then stay here. Don't be stingy with rental and living expenses. Many Singaporean HDB and condo owners would love to rent out to you.

Read today SG hostel owners are worried once MY workers can commute and overseas travel not yet restored, that means there's a sizeable chunk of income gone. Many of these hostels now survive by renting out accommodation for MY workers stuck here.

However you got to be aware many of these MY students are not rich, just compelled to study here for better opportunity away from racist policies back in their own country.

See lah. During pandemic hold what election? During campaigning nobody bothers to keep a safe distance. Now after the election spread like wild fire. Who to blame? Other countries hold election they also want to do the same thing but w/o precautions.

WHO should ban all these holding elections among all the countries. USA another one, no mask, no distancing during Trump's campaigning. Making any pandemic political must be ban. Violators will be shot! 😁 Politicians putting ppl lives at risks for their own agenda.

Malaysia also have foreign workers. But they're not isolated in the dormitories. They're evading the authorities. What we can see is just the tip of an iceberg.

In Malaysia's Sabah, COVID-19 pandemic rages as migrants flee testing

"All across Malaysia's Sabah region, stateless residents and undocumented migrants are fleeing public health officials conducting COVID-19 screenings, fearful of being detained or deported.... estimated 1 million undocumented migrants and stateless residents who account for a third of the population....But health officials fear the real picture could be much worse as people evade screenings in fear of detention or deportation."

Thinking out of the box! Save money!

Ex-Malaysian minister greets 10,000 guests at son's 'drive-through' wedding reception

PUTRAJAYA - Some 10,000 people attended a wedding reception in the Malaysian administrative capital of Putrajaya on Sunday (Dec 20) without stepping out of their vehicles, to comply with Covid-19 health protocols.

The guests simply waved and drove past the event's hosts, Putrajaya MP Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, his wife, his son Tengku Muhammed Hafiz Tengku Adnan and his bride Oceane Cyril Alagia, Bernama news agency reported.

The guests then collected their food packs at a tent set up nearby by winding down their vehicles' windows.
