Wtf!!!!!😱

"In response to speculations about Taiwan in January withholding surgical masks manufactured by Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engg), Finance Minister Su Jain-rong (蘇建榮) pointed out that the masks were exempt from the export ban and had been shipped back to Singapore on Jan. 29. He added that two production lines of ST Engg were also moved back to Singapore on Feb. 12, reported CNA."

If those mask were really exempt from export ban and  shipped back to Singapore on 29 Jan....

Why not just continue producing there???

Why such big discrepancies in the narrative???

Turbocharged

Election or not, I hope from this pandemic they would learn that 6.9 million on a tiny space is not a wise idea to go ahead with.

During the initial virus outbreak in Jan, Taiwan fast hand fast leg quickly order 60 mask production machine and parts from Germany and other countries.

They quickly setup the production line and now, able to produce 15 million surgical mask daily.

Taiwan minister salary only 10 to 12k per month and can performed so much better.

Why our SG Government didn't think of this??? No foresight???

Back in Jan, SG Government still saying " Healthy no need wear mask", " There are enough masks for all Singaporean" etc.................Faint

Think SG government should learn from these mistakes and further improvise on the SOP.

These 2 lines produce https://www.airplus-family.com/

According to Taiwan custom, there are 5 batch that was exported out of Taiwan.  1st 3 batch was to Singapore.  4th batch to Malaysia.  Last batch to SK.

These 2 lines left Taiwan via airplane on Feb 12.

If that's the case, looks very bad.  Hopefully she finally learn her lesson... check before shoot. No more middle fingering monkeys,  no more "errr". ... and understand some things should be handled by the correct channels... this case.. foreign and trade ministries probably.

Just as likely,  some executive from ST may get whack for not providing critical info to boss... resulting in serious lau kui..
