We went just because it was a good place to spend the night on the way back from Croatia. We avoided USA for vacation for many years as I dislike the long flights to USA and the loooong immigration queues every time I faced at SFO airport. First stop in Vienna. We love trying out cakes and pastries in Europe. We left halfway in the intermission because one of the kid in front of us is sick. Did not want to catch any bugs halfway through the vacation. The circus was fun. We like going to circus in Europe, like the one in Moscow. Wind30 Turbocharged August 30, 2020 Author Share August 30, 2020 Slovakia is not really in the travel plans of many people, and Kosice is just a small town in Slovakia. I still enjoyed by stay there. I actually think such places are more enjoyable than lets say Prague where is it expensive and crowded with tourists. I am surprised I managed to convince my daughter to go out early morning in the second pic. Wind30 Turbocharged August 31, 2020 Author Share August 31, 2020 (edited) This was our second visit to krakow after the first visit there in June 2015. This time round was in December with the Christmas lights. Over 90% Poland population is Roman Catholics so you can really feel the Christmas atmosphere. We had trouble hiring a driver to drive us from Kosice in Slovakia to Krakow on christmas Eve... There is just no good rail connection for that route so we went by private car hire. 2nd pic is Alex at Krakow 2.5 years ago.
