Actually what happen to the hospitality workers?

Casino, hotels since all not opened or not running, are the workers laid off or continue working from home?

Wage subsidy scheme will pay 75% of their wages?

If MTI hasn’t given instruction to reduce workforce by now, I doubt they will.

just received the stop work order yesterday (monday) morning !!!

had a few hours discussion with my client and then drew up an appeal letter in the afternoon.

hopefully will get a favorable reply by today.

anyway, already discussed plan B also ... that is anticipate 50% cut, if appeal approved.

else, wed no need to go to work liow ....

Just received an extra 5 x headcount for this week.

Anyone else got it?

Lucky you. Just heard an alliance partner had their exemption rescinded yesterday. 48 hours to shut office.

That’s not good for any company running 3PL. The crux lies in the justifications I believe. Need to submit good reasons for the appeal and do up proper RA/BCP in case they ask for them. Draft up the bare minimum workforce plan, in case they approve less than 50%.

True. Not just office, even buildings will be told to close.

Exempted company can continue to operate even if the building is closed.

Just that, no security, only 1 lift operate, no BM.

They dare not or can not show anything within the 5%nor even 10% top earners.

they only say top 15% overall and top quartile of similar type of job.
which essentially doesnt say much
