Locally manufactured masks for $26/- is expensive.  It is manufactured for Singaporeans and by Singapore but dont say that leh, it sounds nice but I don't find this  any difference from those company from Indonesia, Korea, China, Vietnam or even Carousellers who is taking this opportunity to balloon the price to sell to the people. If for Singapore, sell lower lah maybe 20 bucks but not hover around the same price as others and use Singapore branding to get sales. At this time, people are not doing well, some lost their jobs and many are financially weaker.

It is fair statement.

Sg land not cheap.

Sg overhead not cheap.

Plus raw material price is at least 20% more than Pre-COVID19.

It only put 'Made for Singapore'.

Did not put made from where.

If the gov wana make it cheaper and affordable, it is always possible.

Look at the food prices in schools compared to normal HC or food courts. Its way cheaper and affordable. Quantity is the same but price much lower. The stalls in school has been sustainable for a long time already.
