So different in the standings. Left hand drive vs right hand drive? 🤔🙄 The year is different though.

I am happy with my Sharan so far, after 3yr 4+mth and ~128K km. For full details of my experience, check out the following post I have made in the Sharan thread.

Thank you for sharing your user experience.

Do you reckon there will be a new model of Sharan anytime soon?

The current look has been around for almost 10 years already.

It is the opposite in fact. Sharan will stop production by end of this year (Seat has already end the production of its Alhambra, which is a badge engineered Sharan), WITHOUT any replacement model, because of the diminishing MPV sales worldwide (it is the SUV and crossover world now).

Yes, the current model has been around for almost 10 years (first launched in Europe in Sep 2010), except for the smallish HU, the rest (especially engine and gearbox) are still very much relevant in today motoring scene. So if you are really keen, get it now before it went out of stock forever.

Thanks for the heads up.

In this case, just wondering if spare parts be an issue in the future?

A car in existence for almost a decade, spare parts availability would be your last concern.

I sold my sharan a while back, given the option again, I would keep it.

On the other hand....

The Lexus is quite amazing. No claims against the warranty insurance at all, which actually comes into effect after the end of the manufacturer's warranty.

Cheap not good

Good not cheap

Cheap not say bad

Expensive not say good

It depends on the price and features offered. The CVT is a potential problem for Mitsu.

Otherwise it is fine.

British cars are the worst. Always at the bottom. The Brits just cannot manufacture anything mechanical.
