"This is the fastest speed that I've ever heard of," said Sergeant Kerry Schmidt in a video posted to Twitter. "Unbelievable speeds, we're talking 191 miles an hour (308 kilometers per hour)." The driver, accompanied by another man his age, was driving his father's Mercedes late on Saturday night on the Queen Elizabeth Way highway. His driver's license was immediately suspended and the car impounded for seven days. Jamesc Hypersonic May 11, 2020 Share May 11, 2020 If I am not mistaken 300 kmh is 270 feet per second. Someone correct me if i calculation is wrong. Imagine 1 second he is 270 feet away, 2 seconds he is 540 feet away. 4 seconds he is over 1000 feet away. My driving instructor always said people don't understand mph as miles are very long and hours are very long so we cannot relate.
