BMW Financial Services and Sime Darby are offering discounted rates for healthcare workers who wish to lease a BMW during the circuit breaker period.

Healthcare workers who wish to avail of this promotion can do so via Access by BMW, a vehicle subscription service with a diverse range of BMW models. As a bonus, the one-time activation fee of $1000 will be waived.

The vehicles can be reserved online. Once a car has been chosen, it will be thoroughly disinfected before being delivered to the customer. Safe distancing measures will be observed throughout the process.

Available BMW models include the 1 Series, 2 Series Active Tourer and Gran Tourer, 5 Series X1, X2 and X3.

The rates for healthcare professionals are much lower than usual. A 116d hatchback, for instance, costs $1500 per month, or $600 less than the normal price.

The cost includes insurance, road tax, maintenance and 24-hour roadside assistance. Fuel and parking costs are borne by the customer. The promotion ends on June 1, 2020.
