Hi guys, have anyone tried any portable car polisher? those that can plug in 12v or battery powered?

thinking of getting one as hand polish very tiring and humid weather not helping..

Depending on what you are using for. 12v polisher is good to assist you in applying solution such as AIO, sealant and wax which are non abrasive. If you intend to correct your paint then this is definitely not the toy.

Flex does have battery powered DA which is suitable for paint correction and each battery can last up to 45mins. Is a little costly tho, about 800 bucks.

Be sure to use the right polishing pad with the right chemicals.

Supercharged

IMO, beside the diff in quality level of each products you using, there are also steps to follow if you really want to get the result vs effort you put in. Claying the paint surface is a must if you want to do waxing or coating.

A dirty or poor maintaining car makes the driver looks sloppy. 🙂

if you looking to have a cordless DA for DIY or weekend warrior, here is the flex XE-15 -18 that is batt operated. The charging is fast, about 30mins and is fully charged. Usage is about 30mins depending on the speed you are using.

I am using PORTER-CABLE, It's pretty good. This makes waxing cars so easy I wish I would have bought one a long time ago. I use a slow speed and a soft pad to apply wax, doing a 2'x2' section at a time. This puts the wax down evenly and works it in well.
I use a clean pad with a micro-fiber cover to remove the wax and it's effortless. There's no fighting to get the wax off, it just comes off so easy. I rub the car with a microfiber towel when I'm done to remove any dust or spots I missed.
