i think the waiting time is dependent on the colour. i chose the red, wanted blue/white, but will have to wait until Dec2021/Jan2022

Less power though but better interior thats all.

BMW 116i 3-pot engine without mild hybrid = sucks !!!

Golf/A3 = 4 pot = 150bhp/250Nm with mild hybrid = 2x better la 

the only thing BMW wins is the badge on the bonnet and boot ...  

and of course the interior quality

Lol. During pandemic time now. And i reckon only for driving singapore at legal limits, the beemer makes more sense leow. Hehe.

Tbh. I test drove it. Its adequate power for singapore road only and this ride is going to be for a late 50s who dun like to speed anymore and wan a smaller ride than the altis. Hehe. 

But if for a young spirted. Golf or a3 maybe a good choice. Err. Though cat b now up again. Hee.

The BMW 1.5T gets hybridized, good for 168bhp. It is only a matter of time this engine makes it to the 1 Series and 2 Series GC. Probably will net a VES rebate of $15K too.
