However, body parts might be an issue here but aplenty in Malaysia. Last time, there was a Starlet Club under one of the Sub-sections in MCF but was eventually removed as most of the surviving Starlets back then were scrapped in 06/2011, including mine. Some of the ex-Starlet owners are still quite active in this forum. Those were the days...

For the parts, I think there is still quite a bit of support in ebay and yahoo auction. So not to worry! Hmmm. If driving family inside will be abit cramped. I will give you his contact. Sad that he threw away most of the Starlets parts that he kept when he shifted his workshop as he sees there is no demand anymore. Stockist wise I am not very sure. Maybe common consumables shold have ba, like fuel filter & oil filter. Air filter maybe cos is the old school circle type. Unless the filter has been changed to aftermarket type like K&N.

Unfortunately, the fourth-generation Swift was never offered in Malaysia, as Suzuki exited the Malaysian market in 2016. Seen here is the new 2021 Suzuki Swift facelift, which is expected to go on sale in Japan later this year. Changes are minor – from what we can tell, the restyled Swift gets a new front grille with a horizontal chrome strip and new dual-tone alloy wheels. Apart from that, the updated Swift also gets the option of a black roof, in addition to two new colours – orange and yellow. Other than that, changes to the interior and safety equipment remain unknown at this point of time. Powertrain-wise, the new Swift is expected to carry over its current powertrains, including a 1.2-litre mild hybrid (91 PS/118 Nm), a 1.0-litre turbo (102 PS/150 Nm), 1.2-litre petrol (91 PS/118 Nm), and a 1.4-litre (140 PS, 230 Nm). ismailmiller 1st Gear September 12, 2020 Share September 12, 2020 Hi Guys, My altis is ending COE in End OCT 2020.getting back about $8223 + some scrap body value probably about 300 = $500. I was thinking to renew COE as my car condition is still tip top. Most wear and tear replaced. Let's just say the PQP for end OCT is around 35K and I decided to renew means losing the PARF so my total cost will be about $43500. If I decide to sell my car after 1 year would I be able to sell the car at about $38000-38900 and by then mileage would be about 200K???

Straight line depreciation yes abt there but be prepare buyer will look for a budget buy.. esp with such "High" mileage.. COE car buyer normally more cost conscious.. at least u are assure that COE residue abt 32k then..

If you sell it after 1 year, dealer will likely quote you COE paper value only. unless you sell it to direct buyer in the market, you would be able to get a better price but it will not be linear depreciation . Used car dealers will low ball you. For that matter if you sell yourself all the private buyers will also low ball you. As if only used car dealers only low ball people Just go carousell and see all the low ballers most of the are not car dealers at all.

kobayashiGT Internal Moderator September 28, 2020 Author Share September 28, 2020 Let me give it a go for this beautiful Alfa Romeo 159. https://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=929899&DL=1000 One thing for sure I will not touch is the rims. These rims are so iconic for this car that nothing can replace it. So here are the things I will do with the cars with my usual 3K budget. I will "update" its spark plug. . . $70 The lower arm bushing.and the anti roll bar bushing . . . $450. I might wrap the side mirrors to brush aluminium look. $200 Vogtland lowering spring to give a sportier look. $900 Oil cooler to better disperse the heat from the engine. $600 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001313145808.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.5a017c5aucWvh7&algo_pvid=24637a24-6d0e-46e8-b11d-405d8d5f30a3&algo_expid=24637a24-6d0e-46e8-b11d-405d8d5f30a3-46&btsid=0bb0623616012737166523959ead14&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_,searchweb201603_ An aftermarket head unit that still has the original looks from the car. This car is too nice cannot anyhow put a pioneer headunit and spoil the whole look. - $270 I will change away the gear knob also. The current one look very bulky. - $150 Total: S$2,640
