they gonna launch the e:HEV model next year. full on hybrid no need mild hybrid. But whether KM will bring in is another issue.

But true 1.5T detuned is really hard to convince at ~115k.😶

Price $124999 after discount

Do note that Japan honda is selling the hatchback version which I personally find it way much nicer than the sedan offering here.

Heard it’s a detuned 1.5L turbo at 129hp to fit in cat A COE. At this selling price, not easy to sell with this spec at this current COE level.

Saw on Audi A3 thread, now promo until price  fall just under 130K mark.

129K price- 5K more than the civic pricing.

New Civic really very hard to fit now against competitors.

Yesterday 6-Aug the new KIA K3 was launch, the $107K GT-Line fully loaded equipments and even the Hyundai AVANTE Elite also another fully loaded with equipment. The safely and equipment given match at least conti A4, current outgoing C class which all need to top up to equipment it. 

Beside brand, OMV, spare parts availability etc, 2020 Toyota Corolla Altis, 2020 Mazda 3 and this upcoming 2021 Civic really hard to match, safely features aside, just in terms of equipment these 3 already sure lost out. 

Imagine paying more for the same civic but get detuned 1.5T engine while Thai/Malaysia get the real deal with perhaps better equipments. If KAH motors didn’t make Honda Sensing default in all variant of this Civic, idk what to say, even harder to sell Altis, AVANTE and K3, you must really be a Civic lover to justify to buy it already. 

On the road nowadays, the 2020 FL Altis really not much on the road, same as 2020 new Mazda 3 yet a lot of new 2020 AVANTE S and Elite variant.

if u really wanna save $$, go look at SEAT 1.5T engine range. Same engine as A3 and cheaper than Honda.

assuming u can look pass the brand.

Seat still not well know in SG i think, Skoda on the other hand gaining more sales in SG.

Come on Honda, show the Europeans Japanese still can compete!

Because Honda is MIT. And their AD prices cannot compete with others, including PIs.
