Is this engine similar to that on the previous gen civic? I saw in fb bms tuning did a few units to more than 205 to 220hp for previous 1.5t civic. I think should be without hw upgrades. My car also tuned by them but not civic.

Oh I see. Think that’s about the limit for torque  <300 NM otherwise the gearbox lifespan will be shortened l guess..

240nm is the stock for our neighbour markets. this cvt cannot take above 300 for long, the dashboard will keep beeping with overheating alert

Turbocharged

My Civic fuel consumption hovers around 9.5km/litre for 70% city 30% highway driving, is this normal or poor ?  Other owners, what's your fc like ?

I thought the 1.5 turbo was supposed to be more fuel efficient 😅. Is yours remapped for more power? Or got any modifications to add power yet  , maybe that’s why😆

Vs equivalent 2L NA.

It is unfair to compare 1.5L NA vs Turbo

@turbotan

hi, you tuned your civic already ?

I also planning to tune it but don't know which tuner better...

I chose bms cos he manage to answer all my noob question and also I accompany another owner to do his before. So for me it’s decision to go for tried and proven, and also end of day see which one u comfortable with. For other tuner I didn’t like their replies but I guess it’s a case of couldn’t click with them - doesn’t mean they are worse.
