Wait...they offered u 4.6k lower than market price n u say they not lowball?

@Soya maybe everybody's perception of mkt value is different. Let's take for example that at that time, my ex-car - same year same mth - was listed at ard $100K on SGCM. So to me, $100K is the current mkt value.

Used car Dealers was offering to take in my car at $90K ($10K margin is quite standard if you're familiar with the used car mkt).

Motorist offered me $96K (subject to viewing / bargaining by dealers).

PML offered me $95K for my car (aft some bargaining). No need see condition / mileage etc. With same promotional price of $128,888 for my new BMW. That to me, is an extremely reasonable offer.

Of course, diff folks diff strokes. Maybe some pple insist to sell their car at mkt value (per my example - $100K) before they sign on the dotted line. Which is not wrong, but seldom wil dealers offer that. Most prob have to list and sell yrself, which I have done so previously too 🙂

So yeah, jus sharing my personal opinion 🙂

Usually SGCM price is list price, just like property, usually deal at 5-10% off depending on market demand and seller’s appetite.
So 95k offer from PML is reasonable.

216i GT when they were clearing ex-stocks to make way for the new incoming 218i GT.

But to be fully honest, kinda regretted not getting the X1 (basic trim) at $150 range then. That's why I'm absolutely sure that the current $158K clearance promo for X1 (X trim) is a splendid offer (below than LTA's published car cost). They're making way for the new X1 face-lift (which wil cost ard $180K! Talk about new model premium...)

Once gone means gone = same like my 216i GT deal.

2 weekends ago I was offered $5K refundable early bird deposit for new C180. This gives you early choice and delivery (still expected only in Q1 2022) when closer to launch date. OT was mentioned at $20k with estimated starting price at $245K.

Have to say the car looks awesome on paper!

What’s wrong to earn more? 😂. Go buy C&C shares to earn back some.
