It can. Just abuse handbrake a bit. 😁

Without handbrake need high speed and Scandi flick with clutch kick (if manual) or left foot brake (if auto). Both risky.

hwz’s cars and cars and mycarforum are the only 2 car related forums i frequent (although lurking most of the time)

i really think mycarforum is a great resource. only started driving 5 years ago but this has been an absolute vault of answers for me. my go to when i have any car related problems, because most likely someone has experienced it and answers will be in the thread. 🙂

I recall you got your Mazda CX-5 in July 2008 with the nice no. SJH292, and later got a Mazda MX-5, Porsche Cayenne, BMW 5-er. All the artas cars. 😁

Cx-5 existed in 2008?  Either you meant 2018 or cx-7

Reason I'm asking is there are cheap MT MRS available on sgcm from time to time and I'm trying to get a disposable car to learn a bit of drifting after all this CB crap.

From what I've read, even though it is RWD, the MRS is not easy to push into controllable oversteer. That makes it a poor choice. The wheelbase too short. But you have practical experience, I'd love to hear from you. If you never pushed the car hard, it's okay don't worry I can find out elsewhere. Thanks.

Very belated welcome to MCF! Berrygood that you find MCF useful. Berrygood that you are here more often now. Please participate more and don't lurk already. 😎But I've been seeing more participation from members who've disappeared for awhile resurface during COVID period.

as far as i seen (from pics) the crowd for SGMERC is relatively older 30's-40s
