My car aircon not cold during afternoon drive

I went to L&Kim and they replaced the low-pressure tube and top up the refrigerant.

Customed made tube and top-up refrigerant costing $120.

Everything is now back to normal.

The tube is leaking very slow as there is oil stain around the tube.

Didn't know that car aircon refrigerant contains oil.

Everything need some "lubrication" to make it smooth smooth one.

You can go and do aircon servicing to get the oil changed. I do it once a year. before chinese new year. hahah. That's my "new year servicing" le. During CNY, everything can spoilt. Aircon cannot spoilt! hahaha.

u mean u do the ac flushing and oil replacement once a year? i dun think need to do that frequent, 100k once is good enough.

Yah. I do it once a year leh. Last time my father van (20 years old van) always have air con issues, so I have a habit to do aircon flushing yearly for his van. Then when I got my own car, I have this habit of doing it also.

Maybe should do less frequently. Since economy not good also.. hahah.

i see got $38 machine style ones on carousell now. so they will drain compressor oil and gas and replace with new. 

I did before once (not $38 though), not too bad if the vendor is serious and not gimmicky. compressor did quieten down after the service. 

u can try....$38 once a year def stil can stomach haha

$38 is cheap! I shall go and see. I remb is about $88 when I do at Kim hoe.

u search "precisionauto". disclaim - i never use before ah...do your own checking 🤪
