Many cities in china don't need to wear masks already. Since some months ago.

But too risky once outbreak then outcome cannot imagine, risk another lockdown

You said usa must follow china and sg.

Now beijing don't need to wear masks. Why sg don't follow? Not too risky for beijing? What's the difference?

Sg claims to have no active clusters so how can a mask protect against what isn't there?

HK if their garment start to more tight on movement control, their people will start to make noise no human right. Like AMDK.

You know that today bars, nightclubs and spas are not allowed to open BUT dance halls can remain open despite being the source of the largest cluster with 187-cases and tracing underway for another 1000ppl? I mean, seriously? If the government does the right things at the right time, there would be few complaints but to do something, and instantly do it wrong, is a much larger concern.

This is where problems have come over the last months, with loopholes or bad management.

Protests over the last year and half have led to a large population not prepared to use T&T or install the app so purely on this basis authorities have to be tighter in their venue management.

On study, HK wouldn't be first on my bubble list.

likely phase 3 will start 28 days from the last  date of local transmission?

Key requirement for Phase 3 is that the take-up rate of TraceTogether must be at least 70%. Currently less than half the population uses TraceTogether.

Lets see whether local transmission will return once open testing starts December 1.

We are not able to enforce or do a complete lockdown in the entire neighbourhoods like what China is doing if a single case pop up.

Their lockdown means almost full movement restriction.  AMDK will call this no human right.

There are already strong call to close off border with China.  HK govt ignore.

HKer don't behave like AMDK.

They are more civil minded than us in the use of mask.
