I reject any attempt to label me as "hindsight" later on, as I have posted this today before the spike.

These "clean" Indonesians can potentially infect aircrew, airport staff, public transport workers (private hire cars/taxis/company drivers), cleaners, hotel staff, restaurant waiting staff, colleagues, and customers from Singapore. It just take a handful of positive Indonesians who bribe their pre-arrival test result/pass the test system at incubation stage/false negative, to start another wave in Singapore.

The impact of this pandemic is unprecedented in the history of SG. Because of that, you can see in below link that our Covid related penalties are also unusually hash to protect the rest of the population. When breaching Covid rules, it's no longer usual.

The max jail sentence on there is 6 weeks and that was the first case. Subsequent cases all lower and lower penalty.

Is it fair to "jail" this guy in Singapore while waiting for trial? Why can't they expedite it and get it done with? Even if he is found guilty, it can be an injustice to hold him for months - not to mention the fact that he hasn't been found guilty.

Yesterday, there was 1 community case which shows that COVID19 can be asymptomatic in Children for quite some time.

The family arrived on Sept 16. 

Sept 16: Family arrived in Singapore

Sept 27 (11 days after arrival): Dad tested COVID19 positive despite asymptomatic

Oct 1 (15 days after arrival): Mum tested COVID19 positive despite asymptomatic.

Oct 11 (25 days after arrival): Daugther tested COVID19 positive despite asymptomatic.

Girl probably only caught the infection from family members at the end of quarantine.

Seems to be a regular occurence, even for quarantined families living closely together, not everyone in entire household necessarily gets infected.
