Wanted to get some insights in the product but worried that its all paid review. So I thought its worth starting a sharing thread for people to consider.

During the covid19, I suppose, like TV media after hours ad, the internet never sleep. So when a offer appears, sometimes its either at the wrong time, or you end up with impulsive buy.

So let me start with what my review is base on.

If it works, fine. I already gotten away with a heng ahh moment. If it does not work, I suppose it can be return or at most, consider that as a Toto bet that yield no good outcome,

And of course there must be a baseline for the item to be compared with that I have also use.

My dash cam for the rear died. So rather than wait for some unfortunate incident that gets unrecorded, I decided to pull the trigger on this.

1. Benchmark against - Blackview. - 

My old black view while reasonable good, cost twice as much or if not more than this product. But this comes with wifi.

2. As I have a rear outlet jack at the boot, was not too worried about DIY install and it was quite easy to setup.

would I recommend ?.

well yes. Most definitely. For the price point and ease of setup, its way faster than the setup and transfer of old phone to new phone. Just a word of caution. 

Plug in to your home PC and connect to your phone first before installing into the car. 

Other then this, advise, always order the English version.

Have been using for 3 weeks now so all is good. Not so good is its not a integrated unit with my front car came.

So the start up have 2 competing voice. Just have to silent one or the other I supposed.

I have got a mai70 as my secondary front Cam. Only thing i don't like is that you need to sign in your xiaomi account to access the Cam. Clarity wise it's good ! 

There is an add on module to enable  features like gps and lane departure warning.. Etc.

i plugged out from my old car and put it in my new, so this serves as a backup. Still clearer than the $400plus one provided by my AD.
