I am waiting for the $2 coe to get my honda city.

Nah...

Even then, it will be priced at price w/o COE + $20,000. No bluff you one.

Hi all,

my guess as below:

Cat A: $30K~32K

Cat B: $28K~30K

I scrap my car before CB, now car less and notice 2nd hand SUV market move up slightly since end june. So in dilemma should I move in for car in 2nd hand market or continue waiting. In mind either new or a 2-3 year old SUV. Any advise? Good luck to all, stay safe and bless you.

The good news of a resale car is that it comes readily with the COE, so you dun have to wait....

Bad news is some of those 3 years old car price might not be too attractive as their COE at that point of time is high.....

Wait a few more months - more will lose their jobs (eg SQ pilots and crew most likely) after the JSS is done for (no more reasons to fund it since erections over). Many will have to dispose of their cars to reduce expenses.

At this juncture, i see it as a test for singaporeans. Whether covid can change how our lifestyle and attitude of having/without car(s). And whether ppl have long or short vision on prices. 🤐

Thanks for the link and info, but the figures provided were just estimated average instead of the actual figures. Here are the differences (although they are generally within <10 range for each category).

My guess is more than 30K for Cat A.

At some point vehicle growth should go negative just like interest rate.
