I also suffering hard times.

How to survive like that?

Let me t tell you how to get thru.....

At first I was afraid, I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live without flying by my side
But then I spent so many nights thinking how it did me wrong
And I grew strong
And I learned how to get along.

Business are supported by JSS and rental rebates this year, so some can still pay. Next year they cannot if revenue and social distancing don't go away, so how can rent bottom up early next year?

Can someone enlighten me please???

all looking for V shape recovery

new normal liao

wear mask, scan here scan there = life goes on

people will go out to shop and dine

hence, retail and f&b will pick up

with fewer travel out ... more people will spend $$ locally

Really, retail and F&B revenue are back to pre Covid level?

With thin margin even before Covid as landlords squeeze out all excess profits, even a 10-20% gap is hard to cover.

F&B more or less recover, if pre covid they were half occupied, at least now they look full and people queuing due to safety distancing [laugh]

retail still quite bad for some, fashion is one of them, with people wfh they dun need to replenish new clothing every month (yes, OLs in CBD replenish 3-6 pieces every month) [sweatdrop]

Thanks for sharing but with social distancing, previously you can seat 50, now you can only seat 35?  That is 30% revenue gone forever.

My usual 24 hours supper place told me they are operating until 2am these days as bo lang.

So i really doubt F&B's revenue are back to pre Covid level.

Next year how to survive with less JSS and rental rebates?

survival will be tough

but your question is “bottoming out” ma

which is also correct that the “worst” (100% lockdown) is over

cannot be worst than lockdown

some will survive some will close

new normal will set in until covid is forgotten like sars

During lockdown, G paid for rental and 75% JSS, F&B still operating with delivery and takeaways.  Lockdown may not be so bad for some F&B.

Cut cost to survive? Wages will be cut with NWC endorsement, along with rental. Think serving size / portion also cut cut.

Fret not, opportunities are around. Just have to open your mind, step out of your comfort zone and grab it.

I don't think this is covid affected. I think is the e-commerce have eaten their market share.

With 5G network, there will be more retail death.
