Yes indeed!

really lost their way and it’s telling that the succession planning is in disarray

Maybe ccs thought that he could still be in the lead to be pm. So just say they are not discussing about it now and put focus fully on economic recovery.

So yeah.. It really shows that there is still no clear sign that hsk will be the pm. Haiz..

Actually what does mayor in singapore do? Can someone explain?

It's like a very well paid CCO (Camp Commandant Office). Clean estate, throw rubbish, cut grass.

In other countries hor, mayor must take care of police, fire department, utilities, hospitals, attract investments, collect taxes. Most mayors take care of more people than our PM.

Here no need one! So not a bad job.

Ps forgot to add, mayors also need to hamtum (manage) the protestors....

Quite obvious writer have no knowledge of Singapore. Goh 'took over' with LKY still incharge is symbolic. Then LHL is given even if nobody mention. To repeat 'Goh's transition ' there is yet to have a standby. So, next 5 years we will know if we will see how this evolves.

Its just a roundabout way of saying LHL party leadership beh kan... ruined the party renewal process to scrapping for army retirees.. turning off the private sector.

If lky didn't die and save the 2015 election.. we may possibly be looking at 20% opposition now. He had been an electoral poison for the pap... and worse for Singapore. 😔

The question is come next election.. what will voters do?

If you're a investor of Singapore and votes are shares... would you go all in for more pap?... or hedge with more WP... or whatever new shares.

Pap is looking like Nokia.. refusing to get in "touch" with the new generation phones. Surviving more in nostalgia... and that's not good for us either.

Hypersonic

LKY style of ruling no longer works nowadays.

How there’s some internal conflict or power struggle within PAP.
