The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is in Singapore shores. About a month ago I was at the Jeep showroom and got to see the Gladiator up close and personal. It was still undergoing homologation then but should have passed by now. Impressive, as always coming from a Jeep. The Gladiator is essentially a Wrangler with a bed but some would argue that. There will be two variants in Singapore, one is the Overland (basically your Sahara) and the other the Rubicon.

The new FCA Infotainment system is highly improved compared to the last generation.

This car I think only can put commercial plate.

I've checked with the AD. It CANNOT be pte registered. It will be a GB plate with a 70km/h sticker on the bed lid... and a SWD 😖😭

DO u think contractors will buy this in drove over Hilux, Triton, Cabstars etc? The few contractors who does... well their FW will be in for serious treats. They have a really powerful work truck in their hands and it can run over any terrain :D

Anyway it will be the most expensive work truck in SG... LOL

A 200K work truck. But let's be honest about it. Jeep is a niche brand they were never meant to sell in droves especially when you talk about a Jeep pickup.

Nice. This is in the military desert sand colour?

But this kinda truck cannot fit into our smallish carpark lot. Length: 5,537mm, Height: 1,857–1,933 mm, Width: 1,875 mm.

Width varies between carpark lots, length wise maybe cannot fit. Some MSCP maybe cannot enter cos of the height.

Wonder what’s the reason why cannot be S plate? Weight?

I want to see how the driver handle this into Orchard Central, Shaw Tower, and some older HDB MSCP :D

This is where Singapore need its own Tristan Park for the off roaders or for those less hardcore, a desert terrain with some river crossing for 'Glamping' and not forgetting our Sepang for the trackies.

That's what the 4X4s are built for anyway.

But sidetracking, look at this high budget commercial from Land Rover for the Defender lol.

Got lah - Area A, B, C, D. River crossing included, but vehicles must be able to float! Comes complete with commando mosquitoes.

Only BB no chance to "glamp" with the NS boys.
