Always use CCP supporters arguments against them.

You can only do this because it not well thought out or constructed!

And its all double standards.

Honestly if their arguments not double standards you cannot use it against them.

What a good point!

Chen Shui Bian was jailed for corruption

only because TW is democratic!

If not democratic Chen Shui Bian would be paramount leader and who dare to put him in jail?

CCP supporters have only one flaw! They don't think.

They have many merits like hardworking and never tired of sprouting nonsense.

They have so much energy!

Exactly… quite surprised people don’t see the correlation between power and corruption.
‘I thought the old ccp model where leaders stay on for 2 terms is pretty good. There are sooo many wrongs with what is xi jingping is doing now that it is pretty sad for China.

My China colleague shared with us his recent XJ visit with family for vacation. He told us a few interesting observations.

All foreigners and even China citizens have to go through an "immigration checkpoint" as if entering into another country. One of the standard questions being asked is whether the visitor is a journalist or holding similar job.

Another unusual practice was during refuelling at petrol kisok, only the driver alone is allowed to drive into the petrol kisok. All other passengers were not allowed in for security conerns.

Overall it's a very scenic holiday destination for sure but there's no mistake that it's not another normal city in China.

Normally only a small proportion of the people there will be hardcore radicals involved in illegal activities, while the rest are just trying to get along with their lives. Imposing a punishment on the whole region just for crimes of a few is pointless and just generates more resentment and sympathy for the radicals.

The authorities there need to win cooperation of the good XJ-ers in the long term, incorporate them into law enforcement and root out radicals from within. Just like how the malayan emergency was won. One of the few successful counter-insurgencies till today.

But such plan will need trust from both sides, a tall order for PRC which is always suspicious.

this guy... a local PRC, he really risked his life.

But he is out of china liao.

China really is a beautiful place, some of their travel videos could be mistaken for northern europe.

of course many people will insist whats in xinjiang  is all a lie.... no oppression. the privilege of CCP total control.
