These companies are hypocrites esp h&m and nike for exploiting human labour. H&M exploited in bangladesh too. And all these companies entered china knowing china for low wages, cheap production, ensured not much wage increment by prc govt and this shows that they themselves know well how they make full use

This thing NEVER changes..

Some standard actions..

You hurt our people's sensitivities.. ( favourite umno tactic against sg iirc)

You never visited XXX to see.. ( conveniently sealed off)

See these happy people??.. ( roll out stock official photos)

Those people are all fake.. ( denny victim testimony and photos etc)

Where it happened?

Nazi holocaust,  stalinist USSR,  Serbian genocide,  anything north Korean,  Maoist China.. cultural revolution,  massive man made famines,  after Mao,  tian an men, organ harvesting,  Xinjiang concentration camp,  Tibet etc..

Deny deny deny... that some people even try is amazing.

Chinas is the monster Matrix that can make or break history,  too bad many can't look past their own skin colour and tell the difference between 爱中华 vs 爱中共。

When crusaders talk about Xinjiang, it is about cotton that threaten their livelihood. How they are not able to control trade with their runners.

Regardless what is the true story, which we don't know for sure anyway, China is responding in a way that shows up hypocrisy of western countries. When has USA ever been really concerned about rights of minorities? They are doing so now only to destabilize their great rival, which is now China.

Even the turks, traditionally close relation to the xinjiang uyghurs, have not reacted.

The actual story may lie somewhere in the middle. Sure, there could be a separatist movement active in xinjiang now. Then like any sovereign country, China has the right to act on these hostile elements using its own security laws. Keeping people "interned" is pretty much how you conduct counter-insurgency, cutting off local support for the insurgents - same same what the british did in malaya during the emergency times, uprooting entire villages and interning people in "new villages" - even those innocent ones with no connection or sympathies with the terrorists. But maybe ang moh is always right, so no criticism?

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Kunming_attack

A group of eight knife-wielding terrorists attacked passengers in the Kunming Railway Station in Kunming, Yunnan, China, on 1 March 2014. The attackers pulled out long-bladed knives and stabbed and slashed passengers at random. The assailants killed 31 civilians and injured more than 140 people. Four assailants were shot to death by police on the spot and one injured perpetrator was captured. Police announced on 3 March that the six-man, two-woman group had been neutralized after the arrest of three remaining suspects.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack and no ties to any organization have been identified, in effect the group was a singular terror cell. Xinhua News Agency and the government of Kunming said that the attack had been linked to Xinjiang separatists. Police said that they had confiscated a black, hand-painted East Turkestan flag at the scene, which is associated with the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region for which the separatists seek independence.

To me whatever reasons u might have but killing innocents civilians is wrong and I condemned such action...if the same were to happen to SG what would u expect the govt to do? or would one encourage western powers to throw sanctions on SG for conduct of counter insurgency?

See how they label taiwan pineapple cookies, australia cheese, the lastest Aust wine tariff.

So whenever opinioning others on wrong doing or conspiracy is better for sane human to take look at themselves in the mirror.  They are blinded by their own economic success.

"China will target wines from Australia with tariffs of up to 218 percent for a period of five years amid worsening relations, Bloomberg News reported Friday (March 26).

Sanctions against wine and other products started last November after the Australian government called for an independent investigation into the origins of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In a reaction against the Chinese measure, sales of “Freedom Wine” picked up elsewhere, including in Taiwan."

US Riot started off as RIOT.

HK Riot started off as a protest.  It turns into RIOT no thanks to HKPF.

The worst thing is Yuan Loong White Shirt beat up protester was totally ignored by the authorities.
