why everything pulls in US when China is involved?

How about people learn how to look at the situation and judge for themselves?

becos geopolitics does not operate in a vacuum.. how about people learn how to think? indeed

exactly. great to replace US if we can find a better replacement.

but is China a better replacement?

how come so few  countries support China against US?

Is it because China has lost it's 道?

China is not a better replacement t of US because China cannot replace US.  So few countries support China against US because they can’t afford to upset the most powerful richest advanced nation on earth.  In any case, it’s the US that was going around asking countries to stand against China, don’t seem to see China doing that.  They probably can’t afford to do that either.

Because its about china vs usa. The two big brother. Both of them are permanent member of UN.

when u look at a situation, u definitely would need comparison or example to determine

The context of the discussion was

    >> How come we have to allow China to decide what is correct for other countries to do?

I am expecting an answer of Singapore has to decide for herself. Not another question implying that I am saying US can decide.

you think singapore can decide for itself? do you even know why singapore is promoting asean as a group in international diplomacy?

Just because someone sees through the hypocrisy of the current western world, they are automatically brain-washed by China propaganda?

you make it seemed like it's wrong to ask you question.

it's ok if you don't have a view to share.

The fact is ASEAN has not been united too many times, with breakaways like Laos and Cambodia on key South china sea issues.

It is perhaps just wishful thinking that ASEAN can resolve the issue without outside help.

have you not heard about the code of conduct?

It's like unrequited love. There are locals that are so blindsided by China.

Unfortunately, the truth is China only treats Singaporean Chinese as overseas Chinese. ie not the same as it's own citizen.

Err i don’t see myself as citizen of china, don’t put words into others mouth
