I will tint my windows dark dark if inspection is 5 years from registration. 3 years ROI very poor.

Go Infratint. Repeat customer discount.

Penny wise pound foolish ... confirm his maths fail... while I do agree inspection at the 3rd year is not essential ... but his idea of mandatory tyre change at 10-15k is absurd. ....

Changing 1 set of the cheapest tyre equates to 4 inspection costs isn’t it?  So.... what is the point behind his article ?

This Foo is a Fool.

Not because of the three year thing, but so many rubbish claims. Our roads are not in good upkeep any more. And what's this nonsense about forcing tyre changes at 10,000 to 15,000km? Track every weekend ah? 😂

maybe he sells tyres.  Michelin also created their guidebooks to encourage people to drive more and hence replace tyres more often

Question,  this year lta never send hard copy letter for me to go for Car inspection.

So do I print out from my app or just walk in without any paperwork and just tell them my plate number?

Rubber of 4 tyres is a lot......

Probably much more than the condoms a man can use in 2 years......... 😅

So changing tyres every 10-15k is way more rubber consumed than condoms. 🤣 Most drivers will reach this mileage in 6-9 mths.

And both male and female can drive on the road at the same time.......

Condoms or femidoms.....

Usually 2 person use it together... So, depletion will be lower 😂😂😂

At one stage, tyres were planned as a recycled material for mixture with road tar . I Guess too expensive to recycle. Plans was also for used tyres to build coral reefs.. but that would reduce the sub from moving freely as well lol

When you go to the kiosk it will show you your car number if you lucky.

They have a number plate reader when you drive in.

But the last time I went it was not working.

Don't know how to maintain their own equipment want to take my money to check I maintain my car properly.

How can like that?

I went at 11:15 ... Que until on the outside road.  So I left to do other things.

Came back at 12:45 and was 4th in line.

I stop my car in the q and went to look at the machines... Not knowing what to do... No instructions also...  Then got one guy was behind me in the que was using the machine so I asked him what to do.

So I had to key in my car number then collect the receipt and go back to my car to wait again. $70 with GST.

But then hor...  The helpful guy who was behind me was then directed to the next row beside me and another car moved up behind mine.

I think it was because the vicom guys saw him helping me,  so they directed his Ferrari to the next row instead. 😂

She likes to drive in the rain cos she says nice and cool.

this is the best tyre,   just like  F1 dry tyres, they have no tread.
