You can't blame the man for trusting his own family. But whether they are the best choice to occupy those positions is another matter.

The have the Electoral College in case people don't vote wisely and some states they can choose someone else.

The system is built this way in case one day people get brainwashed and vote for Biden

and the elected representatives can use their wisdom and vote for the better candidate Trump instead.

Its not cheating it was designed this way.
