Last week I went to the famous Michelin Star Tai Hwa at Crawford around 1130am. There was a queue of approx 10-12 people ahead of me but still need to wait an hour before I got my bak chor mee. The noodles are delicious as their ingredients like vinegar n other sauces r just about right n consistent 😋 but I won’t queue for one hour again as just too long. 

The chef wants to get involved with even money collection so that n the fact that some customers buying more than 10 bowls at one go caused the 1hr queue. But I can understand the hype though👍

I only tried the hong lim food centre one. I personally dont find it special. 😅

We hardly eat out, all these years, it’s been home cooked to save for the children, and healthier also. Now the children are big and moved out, we still can’t seem to ditch our frugal ways, guess we never will. 
Our eldest- Michelin Chicken Rice, no chicken, no rice. WTF did you eat than for $99!! Not joking. Even when we travel, if we can cook we will. I remember when we both drove in NZ, my wife learned how I survived when sent outfield. 😀

Did you order without chilli and lard?

If BCM no chilli and lard, is not a proper BCM.

That one I’ve not tried yet (Tai Wah). Seems they are related.

That might be the reason. 

Without chilli, normally is just tomato ketchup and every BCM will taste the same.

Some of the special or good BCM will have their own special make chilli sauce that make them different from other stores.

True, normally it is the special make chili sauce which stand out from the rest. Lol. No wonder everytime those so called special and long queue food, i always dont find any special.

 Indocafe. First time. Using Amex love dining cost $47 net. 
highly recommended for the price. Pretty nice place and service. Food is good too and cheap!
