I like cempedak too.

Saw this at NTUC recently. In Malaysia, they call this a special breed of cempedak, not "durian cempedak". The seller in Yong Peng told me the name in mandarin, which I didn't understand. But it's really good. Actually it looks the same as what you bought.

Fried cempedak from blk 511 Bedok North. The stall also sells nasi lemak, as well as goreng pisang and other fried items.

different.

jackfruit is firmer and has a waxy texture. The fruits tend to be much larger too.

cempedak is softer n mushy.

I saw it quite frequent at Bedok Reservoir SS.

Lunch at a busy roadside stall selling chicken noodle with bitter gourd or kway-teow-gai-mara (ก๋วยเตี๋ยวไก่มะระ)

When arrive just take a sit someone will come take your order

When ready you will be called by the table number and then go collect your bowl of noodle

Then go to table and add your condiments as much as you like as its free flow

My 40 baht lunch with lots of chicken meat ($1,75)

My 10 baht longan drink (45 cents)

Mix around the noodle and makan

When i look at these pictures you posted in thailand, seems like people in thailand no need to wear mask at all and life like pre-covid days?!
