The truth is he played well against Arsenal but not against Madrid. The whole world knows that he is not good in defending and the gold mine for opponent to exploit. Without poor Gomez around, his weakness gets magnified. Whatever Klopp was planning went wrong. He dropped both attacking mid from 2nd half of Arsenal game: Firminho and Thiago.
